VERNON, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Connecticut State Police add another street takeover investigation to their ongoing probe.
State Police warned of a street takeover that was active in the area near Exits 64 and 65 at I-84 in Vernon on Friday night.
They shared a video of the takeover in a commuter parking lot, where many of the takeovers often form before sometimes going onto streets and/or highways.
State, Local, and Federal Agencies are actively monitoring & investigating these incidents, of which some often become destructive or violent.
Connecticut State Police continue to warn the public of street takeovers when they learn of them out of concern for the public's safety.
