Waterbury, Conn./WTIC Radio - A man is dead and police are charging a Waterbury woman with murder.
Officers on Monday responded to 13 Cherry Street just before 8:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, they found the victim lying on a floor, unresponsive, suffering from several serious injuries.
They say there were signs of a struggle.
Guadalupe Ojeda, 39, was identified as the prime suspect, say police.
She was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Ojeda was then booked on a murder charge.
Bond was set at $2 million and she was in court Tuesday.
Waterbury detectives say the investigation remains active and ongoing.
