WATERBURY, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Waterbury officials say a weapon has been confiscated from a student at Crosby High School.
There's no comment on what kind of weapon was recovered.
Crosby High School and Wallace Middle School were placed into a shelter-in-place mode during the investigation.
The Waterbury Police Department responded immediately once administration was made aware of the weapon and is currently investigating.
Weapons of any kind are not permitted inside any of the Waterbury Public Schools, officials remind.
There is no longer an active shelter in place.
