Albany, NY/WTIC Radio - Surveyors with the National Weather Service have confirmed an EF-0 tornado did, in fact, touch down over the weekend.
A severe thunderstorm spawned the twister around 9:00 Saturday night in Litchfield County.
That type of small tornado that touched down in Roxbury generally contains winds of between 65-and-85 miles an hour.
The weather service officer in Albany, New York says it will have an official statement and local storm report on Tuesday.
