West Haven, Conn./WTIC Radio - West Haven officials have provided an update on circumstances surrounding a fatal shooting outside a city nightspot last weekend.
Shots rang out early Saturday morning at the Muzeum sports bar and grille.
Two employees, 31-year-old Miguel Blake of New Haven and his 34-year-old brother Dravere, a Meriden resident, were gunned down.
Police say an altercation began inside, subsided, then reignited outside leading to the fatal shots.
West Haven Mayor Dorinda Borer says they're taking several steps in response.
"We have provided a cease and desist order", said Borer.
In addition, Borer says they're expediting the hiring of four additional police officers, will establish a quality of life division within the police department, and create a business compliance task force.
The investigation is ongoing.
So far, no arrests have been made.
