WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - A woman is dead after a wrong-way crash in Wethersfield late Saturday night.
State Police say Wendy Lara, 30, of Manchester, was killed after she drove her Toyota Camry the wrong-way on Route 5/15 Southbound near Exit 85 around 11:56 p.m., slamming head-on into a Honda Prologue Tour.
Lara later died at Hartford Hospital.
Two people inside the Honda were hospitalized with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
