Hartford, Conn./WTIC Radio - Police in Hartford are investigating what they say is the suspicious death of a female whose body was found in a city apartment Monday.
Investigators received the call to 256 Mather Street at 10:45 a.m.
The woman appeared to have been dead for several days, according to police.
Right now, detectives are only referring to the woman as Jane Doe.
The police department's Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions are investigating.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine an exact cause of death.
