(Middletown, Conn./WTIC) - Middletown police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting last weekend.
Officers say 32-year-old city resident Antwan Rufus is their suspect.
According to police, Rufus is charged with shooting another male multiple times in the leg last Saturday on Williams Street.
A detective spotted Rufus on Wednesday in the area of Green and Main Streets where he was arrested.
Rufus is facing a number of charges including assault, attempted assault, unlawful discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm and reckless endangerment, among others.
Middletown detectives say this shooting and another one April 28 on Maplewood Terrace are related.
Rufus's bond was set a $500,000.
