(Southington, Conn./WTIC) - A Bristol man is facing charges after Southington police say he was the one behind placing a camera in an employee bathroom at a Target store in town.

Under arrest is 40-year-old Joy Recio.

According to investigators, an employee found the camera, initially stuck to a wall, after it had fallen to the floor.

The motion activated camera had been aimed at a toilet in the restroom, according to police.

A review of the video on the camera led detectives to Recio, who admitted he was the camera's owner but didn't provide any additional details.

Police say those who know him described Recio as a "good employee" who'd been on the job three years.

He now faces three counts each of voyeurism with malice and breach of peace.

Bond was set at $25,000.
