Its shocking to believe someone would leave two children in a locked car as temperatures soared over 100 degrees.
The mother of an 8 year old and a one month old was arrested after police were called to a Walmart parking lot Wednesday in Naugatuck where they found the two children in the locked car, crying and over heated. The car alarm had been set off. They were taken to the hospital for evaluation. 30-year-old Talita Sonia de Carvalho Silva is charged with two counts of risk of injury to a minor. Authorities say she was released on a $10 thousand dollar bond, and is scheduled to appear in court on July 9th.
