While the Hallmark Channel is known for its “Countdown to Christmas” programming, the network also has a new batch of new titles premiering right away in the new year, including a second season of “The Way Home” starring Andie MacDowell.

It’s about a Kat and Alice, a mother and daughter who discover they are able to travel through time after moving into the home of Kat’s mother Del, played by MacDowell. With this ability, they aim to find out truths and change the course of events in their lives.

“Season two starts where the shocking season one finale left off and had viewers on the edge of their seats,” said a press release from Hallmark. It premieres Sunday, Jan. 21 at 9 p.m. ET.

In January, the channel will also premiere four new movies – one every Saturday. These include:

·       “Love is on the Right Course” about a professional golfer who finds love in an unexpected place, with an unexpected person. (Jan. 6 at 8 pm. ET)

·       “A Scottish Love Scheme” about meddling mothers planning to set up old friends. (Jan. 13 at 8 p.m. ET)

·       “Betty’s Bad Luck in Love” about a woman who meets a man who tempts her to try romance despite her track record. (Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. ET)

·       “Swinging into Love” about a former dancer who just might fall in love when she turns a gymnasium into an aerial dance studio.
(Jan. 27 at 8 p.m. ET)

One more program Hallmark fans can look forward to in the new year is “True Justice: Family Ties” a whodunnit about a law school student on a mission to clear her brother’s name. It premieres Friday, Jan. 12 at 8 p.m. ET.

Until the January premieres start, Hallmark Channel will be airing holiday movies. These include “A Merry Scottish Christmas” with Lacey Chabert and Scott Wolf on Saturday night.
