Hartford Police confirm the shooting death of a young man in the South West neighborhood on Monday afternoon.
Police spokesman Lt. Aaron Boisvert says at about 3:45 pm, Makhi Buckly, 19, of Westland St., was found shot in the driveway of a home at 152 Amherst St. He was pronounced dead at Hartford Hospital.
Police believe the shooting was not random, and that Buckly was the target.
