Woodbridge, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - State police are investigating after a pedestrian fell from an overpass Tuesday evening on to the Wilbur Cross Parkway in Woodbridge and was subsequently struck by a motor vehicle.
The victim has been identifed as Carmelo Agosto, 42, of New Haven.

According to investigators, around 7:30, troopers were called to the scene southbound at exit 58 for a body in the road.
During the investigation it was learned that Agosto was a passenger involved in a crash along the Route 114 overpass when he fell into the right lane at exit 58.
He was rushed to Yale New Haven Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
