(Guilford, Conn./WTIC) - Guilford police are investigating an incident in town in which the crooks entered an unlock home, swiped car keys and other valuables and made of with the vehicle.
They say the suspects are also being linked to similar thefts in Madison and Branford.
Police say while in the home, the suspects took credit cards, electronics, wallets and purses, among other items.
Guilford police say victims were in the home the same time as the suspects.
They then traveled to Naugatuck where they apparently went on a spending spree with the stolen credit cards, later ditching two of the three stolen vehicles in Waterbury.
Police continue to urge citizens to lock their vehicle doors and secure their homes, and report any suspicious activity.
