(Hartford, Conn. WTIC)- Third District Congressman John Larson says an effort by Senator Josh Hawley(R-Missouri) to challenge Electoral College results next certifying Joe Biden as President will fail.
" This is incredibly indecive and unnecessary. Many Republicans, including Mitch McConnell, think it's the wrong thing to do. The transfer of power since Washington has been a peaceful and cooperative transition. This can't be helpful and is another fly in the ointment."
Twenty four Republicans,current and Congress members-elect plan to join Hawley's effort.
Congressman Larson appeared on the WTIC morning show.
