(New London, Conn./WTIC) - New London city officials have released a report on the fire that took the life of Zappos founder Tony Hsieh.
Officials say any one of a number of circumstances may have led to the fire that took Hsieh's life on November 18.
That's when firefighters were called in the wee hours to a shed fire at 500 Pequot Avenue.
Hsieh had retreated to the shed earlier after an argument with homeowner and friend Rachael Brown.
Hsieh and several others were supposed to fly to Maui.
The report states that Hsieh had spoken to his younger brother just prior to smoke rising from the shed.
Investigators say gas from a propane tank may have accelerated the blaze.
The report also states there were several candles, a marijuana pipe and cigarette butts in the shed, not ruling out carelessness.
The exact cause has been deemed undetermined for now.
