
(Hartford, Conn./WTIC) - Shootings Tuesday night in two Connecticut cities have left one man dead and another wounded.
In New Haven, detectives there have a homicide investigation on their hands.
A little after 8:00, officers were called to the scene at Grace Street between Rock and State streets in the city's Cedar Hill neighborhood.
Upon arrival, they found a 24-year-old man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
He was rushed to Yale New Haven Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police worked into the overnight processing the scene.
So far no arrests have been made and no motive given.
Also Tuesday night in Hartford, a man was found shot in the area of 380 Garden Street.
Police say the victim was conscious and alert, suffering from a leg wound. The Major Crimes Division is heading that investigation.
