LAKEVILLE, Connecticut (WTIC radio)
Connecticut State Police are investigating the cause of an emergency landing of a small engine plane at Lime Rock in Lakeville Saturday afternoon.
Officials at Lime Rock Park said The Cessna 172, which is a two-passenger plane, experienced mechanical failure and was forced to land.
One person on board was injured and hospitalized for minor injuries. The pilot was reportedly not hurt.
First responders contained a small fuel leak after the plane was forced to make the emergency landing.
