WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (WTIC Radio) - Almost nine in ten Connecticut residents aren't traveling for Thanksgiving, according to a new survey released by AAA.
And, of those staying put for the holiday, over half of respondents say it's because of the coronavirus, according to the auto club. In addition, nearly 90 percent of respondents said they perceived travel as a COVID-19 risk, with more than 40 percent calling it a "significant" risk.
Of those who do intend to travel for Thanksgiving, 73 percent say they will be doing so by car and 25 percent say they will be flying to their destination.
