(Hartford, Conn. WTIC)-Relying on financial help from the legislature and federal Covid funds, the UConn Board of Trustees approved 2022 budgets for Storrs, regional campuses and the Health Center in Farmington.
The budget for Storrs and campuses in $1.6 Billion. For the Health Center it's 1.4 Billion.
Executive Vice President Scott Jordan says the University is also increasing the amount of financial aid.
Budgets for those institutions ended up being balanced for Fiscal Year 2021, which ended today.
