Connecticut's consumer protection department advises that the start of legal recreational marijuana sales might not feel so recreational for the state's medical marijuana users.
They could be stuck waiting in long lines says the department. That's because the first nine recreational dispensaries will be doing double duty -- also selling medical marijuana.
And dispensaries selling strictly recreational cannabis -- without medical sales -- are not expected to open until later this year.
With that, the department advises medical marijuana users to stock up today on their weed needs and avoid tomorrow's crowds.
