Law Enforcement: Pot Legal Thursday Will Be Business As Usual

(Hartford, Conn. WTIC)-The President of the Connecticut Police Chief's Association, Patrick Ridenhour, says law enforcement will adopt a business as usual approach Thursday as certain amounts of marijuana become legal.

Ridenhour says his organization and officers are awaiting more guidance from the States Attorney's Office and other stakeholders, as well as feedback from the community and legislators.
Ridenhour says law enforcement lacks a mechanism like a breathalyzer test to determine if someone is driving high. He also says more drug recognition experts are necessary.
