(Hartford. Conn.WTIC)-Members of the legislature's Education Committee heard testimony on a measure concerning the establishment of a money-follows-the child-approach to funding public education.
Former State Representative Noreen Kokaruda testified in favor of it, saying 28 states have already adopted it.
She says the measure ensures equity in education. She says that's important at a time where she claims some systems double- funds students while others endure limited funding.
