The measure being considered in Hartford would budget money for women from other states seeking to terminate their pregnancies here in Connecticut.
This is the final day that lawmakers have to move the bill from committee to the full legislature.
And it comes one day after the Connecticut March for Life, during which protesters said Connecticut's money would be better spent providing services to women and children in need.
Counterprotesters say abortion is one of those needs, and expanding reproductive care saves lives.
