(Hartford, Conn. WTIC) Governor Ned Lamont , during a storm briefing, advised state residents to stay off the roads and if you're on them to head home.

Lamont says the state's mantra remains the same:  Stay Safe, Stay Home. White-out conditions are  anticipated.

Lamont  says the  state snow totals will likely range from one to two feet,  with the Western part of the state getting hit the hardest

Lamont  says no delays are reported  in the supply chain as far as Covid  deliveries.  He says he anticipates few power outages.  Even though the  Pfizer vaccine requires cold  temperatures, Lamont  says  if an outage occurs, the state receives an alert and alternate power will be provided.

Lamont  says he also has more faith in the utilities today than he has had in the past.

The Governor says  many vaccine appointments have been re-scheduled and it's best to contact your healthcare provider.
