UConn Women's assistant basketball coach Jamelle Elliott says she's leaving the program to pursue other opportunities outside of coaching. She had spent more than 30 years working with Huskies basketball. Head coach Geno Auriemma saying she impacted generations of Connecticut basketball players. Elliott played for UConn from 1992-1996 helping the team earn its first National title in 1995. She said this wasn't an easy decision, calling it the right time to begin a new chapter. She called it a privilege and a honor to wear the Husky uniform and be a part of the coaching staff.
