Brett Eagleson of Middletown hopes the U.S. publicly stating that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved a high-profile killing signals that America will release more classified intelligence on Saudi Arabia.

Specifically, he believes the Department of Justice is withholding information that likely implicates the kingdom in the 9-11 attacks. Eagleson's father, Bruce, died at the World Trade Center.

The still-classified data could help Eagleson and other victims' families as they pursue their federal lawsuit against Saudi Arabia.

Eagleson says depositions of top Saudi officials are ongoing. He tells WTIC'S Dave Mager "the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is under discovery for their role in 9-11."
