(Tolland, Conn./WTIC) - A UConn police officer is facing charges he stalked and harassed two university employees for a year.
Peter Zavickas is a 17 year veteran of the force.
A warrant says Zavickas used the university's statewide camera system to track the alleged victims movements, along with following them in his personal vehicle.
He also allegedly photographed the two employees, unbeknownst to them, between September of last year and this past October.
In addition, prosecutors say Zavickas used a statewide online law enforcement system for personal use in monitoring the two alleged victims.
Zavickas is assigned to the university's Avery Point campus.
He faces numeous charges, including electronic stalking, computer crimes and harassment.
Zavickas is free on $ 25,000 bond, due in court in Tolland on Thursday.
