(Danbury, Conn./WTIC) - Danbury police are charging the grandmother of a child who died in March in connection with his death.
Officers say they were called to Danbury Hospital, where the child had been taken, on March 17.
Investigators determined 60-year-old Cora Brandon to be complicit in the child's death.
She was arrested Wednesday.
Brandon faces multiple charges including manslaughter, risk of injury, and possession of a controlled substance.
Police have not said how they came to believe Brandon was involved or how the child died.
The arrest warrant has been sealed.
Brandon's bond was set at $500,000.
