(Waterbury, Conn./WTIC) - A Prospect woman is facing charges after State Police say she struck a trooper's cruiser while driving the wrong way on the highway.
It was just before 11:00 last night that troopers were dispatched to Interstate 84 in Waterbury on a report that 34-year-old Sara Deleon was driving the wrong way near exit 23.

A trooper was transported to the hospital with minor injuries and has since been released.
As for Deleon, she failed a field sobriety test after being suspected of driving under the influence.
She's facing three counts including reckless driving, operating under the influence, and driving the wrong way on a one-way highway.
