Steve Parker Sat. Mornings CT Humane Society 10-17-26

There's a proposed Puppy Protection Act and Senator Richard Blumenthal stopped by the CT Humane Society to fill us in. This federal legislation would create stronger standards for commercial breeders, requiring larger enclosures, unrestricted access to exercise and socialization, as well as more routine veterinary care for dogs. Our old friend James Bias, Executive Director of the CT Humane Society stops by to tell us what this is all about, as well as what else is happening at the CT Humane Society. Visit their Facebook page or online at www.cthumane.org.
