The MLB at Field of Dreams game kicks off Thursday evening, and before the action, the Yankees took their time to take in the iconic surroundings.
The Yanks are squaring off against the White Sox in the first regular season game in Iowa in MLB history, and it will happen in the very same cornfields where the legendary movie was filmed.
Players made sure to capture the moment, including Luke Voit, who emerged from the cornfields from the playing field onto the original Field of Dreams.
Aaron Judge took it all in while the team headed out to center field for a team photo.
“Legends out there, you know?” Judge said, pointing out to the cornfields.
Gerrit Cole, back with the team after his stint on the COVID-19 IL, was also able to take in the sights, as was Giancarlo Stanton.
The one-of-a-kind event gets underway at 7 p.m. Thursday.
