After a series loss to the Cubs knocked the Yankees out of a playoff spot heading into the All-Star break, BT was in full rant mode to open Monday morning’s show.

A large amount of his focus was on Gleyber Torres, who failed to turn a double play in Sunday’s series finale, setting up a Chicago rally and sparked the Bombers’ unraveling.

“There is zero accountability on this team, and it’s driving me nuts,” BT said. “I can’t stand it anymore. Gleyber Torres, what are we waiting for? Get rid of him…Gleyber Torres is the most non-winning ‘good player’ I’ve ever seen in my life.

“He is very rarely in the middle of sustained good stuff, and is too frequently in the middle of mind-numbingly dumb stuff.”

BT credited Torres for never hiding from his mistakes, but there are so many miscues, the accountability is far outweighed by the inexplicable boneheaded plays in the field and on the bases.

“He takes accountability. He stands in front of his locker, great,” BT said. “How about you get your head out of your ass and start playing real baseball? ‘He takes accountability.’ Who cares!?”

Torres wasn’t the only Yankee veteran to be called out by BT.

“I can’t watch this crap anymore. I’m so disgusted with Giancarlo Stanton,” BT said. “He looks like Zeus, and he plays like ass…he doesn’t do enough often enough. Get rid of him. Josh Donaldson, cut him.”
