C-Mac laments Yankees recent injury history to trade deadline adds amid Jazz Chisholm news
C-Mac was adamant after Monday’s miserable loss to the lowly White Sox that, despite the frustration, it was not the worst loss of the Yankees season.
Now, with news of a UCL injury for Jazz Chisholm, C-Mac might change his tune.
Even after a bounceback win on Tuesday, the vibes were watered down during Wednesday morning’s show, as C-Mac lamented yet another key trade deadline acquisition being lost to injury, which seems to happen far too often with the Yankees in recent years.
“Jazz Chisholm was the trade deadline, and the impact on the team was immense and immediate!” C-Mac said. “To find out the one guy they traded for is gone, possibly for the season…to find out that the trade deadline has become nothing but Leiter, who can’t get anybody out.
“If you look at the trade deadline moves that Brian Cashman has made the last two years…Montas, Effross, Trivino, we barely saw any of them because they’ve all been hurt!”
