C-Mac has not been shy in his desire for the Yankees to explore a Mike Trout trade, and certainly hasn’t hid his want for the Yanks to make a splash for Juan Soto.

But, if they were to go the Trout route, C-Mac has the full offseason to-do list that would set the Bombers up for a bounceback season in 2024.

“I can trade Gleyber Torres to get younger and save some money there, add another pitcher, a back-end reliever, another hitter maybe, and I’ll play the kids,” C-Mac said. “I got [Austin] Wells starting at catcher, eventually [Jasson] Dominguez in center field, I got [Oswald] Peraza and [Anthony] Volpe up the middle, I’d be youthful that way. I’d add Trout and play him in the outfield. I’d have Trout, Dominguez, and Judge as my outfield, and [DJ] LeMahieu, Volpe, Peraza, and [Anthony] Rizzo as my infield, with Wells catching.”

Dominguez likely won’t be back until around the All-Star break as he recovers from Tommy John surgery, but the rest of the names listed above by C-Mac would be his desired Opening Day lineup, with Giancarlo Stanton likely at DH and Gerrit Cole on the mound.
