A well-respected presence in the clubhouse, Sabathia pitched for 19 seasons in the majors, most notably with the Yankees from 2009-2019. He was an anchor to the team’s last World Series title in 2009, when he earned ALCS MVP honors.

Since retirement, Sabathia has released a documentary on HBO and a book detailing his life in and out of baseball. The Sabathia family also started the PitCCh In Foundation, which helps young people gather the tools necessary to be successful in school and on the field.
