Aroldis Chapman was trending across social media on Wednesday morning for disturbing reasons related to a video he shared on his Instagram story.

The former Yankees reliever posted a video of himself laying on the couch with an older woman, groping her breasts as she gently pushed his hand away twice. A laughing Chapman continued, and fans online were horrified (the link to the video contains graphic content).

Some even speculated that the woman in the video, which was still up as of Wednesday morning, could be Chapman’s mother.

Chapman last pitched for the Yankees late in the 2022 season, before he was left off the postseason roster after not reporting to a team workout, telling the team he would only show up if he was guaranteed a spot on the postseason roster.

The lefty reliever, on the wrong end of some of the most crippling Yankee playoff moments in recent memory, won his second World Series title last year as a member of the Rangers, and then signed a one-year deal with the Pirates for $10.5 million.
