Harrison Bader has left John Sterling singing many times already in this postseason.
Sterling, who has his trademark home run calls for every Yankee player, broke out the Judy Garland lyrics to “I’m Just Wild About Harry” the first time Bader went deep, which was in game one of the ALDS. Bader has hit three more home runs since then, and Sterling added a “Darth Bader” label on Bader’s last home run in game one of the ALCS.
Bader told reporters on Saturday that he is a big fan of the call.
“I think it's wonderful and I would love to make him continue to do that as much as possible,” Bader said.
Bader also added that he doesn’t mind being referred to as Harry, as it was his grandfather’s name.
