Multi-platinum recording artist Cardi B joined boyfriend Stefon Diggs to help pamper local moms at a free holiday party thrown by the Patriots wide receiver at Gillette Stadium Monday night.
The party was Diggs' first-ever 'Winter Wonderland Wellness Event,' and featured spa treatments, guided yoga sessions, and even a party for the kids on the side. Teammate Brenden Schooler joined, and took advantage of Diggs' protein and grain bowl station.
"Every year's a hard year, especially for moms. My mom's actually here today, special guest," Diggs said. "So I just wanted to have wellness day, an appreciation day. Everybody works extremely hard and I'm extremely blessed. Paying it forward is going to be something always extremely big for me.
"I think, just give them a little break. A little yoga, little massage, facial, a day of appreciation. I had a mom, she did it all by herself, so I just wanted to show them some love."
But party attendees had no idea another special guest would arrive: Cardi B, who quietly entered midway through the evening and drew a raucous crowd of youngsters.
The evening was the second event put on for local families by the 'Diggs Deep Foundation' at Gillette Stadium. Diggs' non-profit also invited New England mothers and children to a similar treat last month.
Cardi B and Diggs took photos with fans and then participated in a yoga session, looking happy and relaxed together.
