Alabama speedster Jaylen Waddle spent his collegiate career blowing past helpless defenders. But on draft night, he blew past his own draft party
The Dolphins selected Waddle with the No. 6 overall pick. His family was exuberant, but he was all business.
Waddle will immediately bring his incredible playmaking ability to the Dolphins. He scored 17 touchdowns in college, and each one was for an average of 44.5 yards (he caught 13 of those 17 touchdowns with Tua Tagovailoa as his QB).
In other words, Waddle is the definition of a home run threat. It's pretty tantalizing to imagine him lining up alongside DeVante Parker.
Tagovailoa certainly seems pleased to reunite with his teammate. The question is, is he the right quarterback for the job?
