The Zach Wilson hype was in full force following his pro day last week, but on Tuesday Justin Fields reminded everyone how good he is, too.

The Ohio State quarterback reportedly turned in an impressive performance at his pro day, which was highlighted by his unofficial time of 4.44 in the 40-yard dash.

Just how impressive is that?

Per ESPN Stats and Info, only one quarterback has run a faster 40 time at the NFL Scouting Combine, which was Robert Griffin III, who ran a 4.41 in 2012. Marcus Mariota previously had the next best mark at 4.52.

It wasn’t even what Fields hoped to hit.

“I think everybody knows my goal in that 40-yard dash was to at least be in the 4.3s,” he said, per Paul Schwartz of the New York Post. “But of course I’m mad about hat. Other than that, I thought I threw pretty well. Just had a few missed throws but that happens. Every Pro Day is not going to be perfect.”

NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah said the ball “jumped out of [Fields’] hand on drive throws.”

“On deep throws, was able to layer the ball,” he said. “He showed you everything you wanted to see within a pro day workout. … This environment was set up for him to excel and he knocked it out of the park.”

Thirty-one teams were in attendance for the Ohio State pro day, which had 15 players working out, and only the Rams were missing, per NFL Network.

While not every team was there to watch Fields, several teams are actively evaluating quarterbacks.

The San Francisco 49ers had just traded up to the No. 3 spot over the weekend in what is presumably a move to draft a quarterback. The New York Jets, picking second overall, are believed to be interested in Wilson, but Fields may have them second-guessing.

The New England Patriots, drafting 15th overall, are still looking for a long-term franchise quarterback while the Detroit Lions, Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos — drafting seventh, eighth and ninth, respectively — could all opt for a quarterback as well.

Fields, along with Wilson, Trey Lance of North Dakota State and Mac Jones of Alabama, the latter of which also had his pro day on Tuesday, could be drafted by any one of those teams.
