Prior to their contest against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, the Patriots made the following roster moves:
To Injured Reserve:
CB Christian Gonzalez (shoulder)
As was expected, Patriots rookie CB Christian Gonzalez was officially placed on injured reserve on Saturday after torn his shoulder labrum last weekend in Dallas. He'll reportedly have surgery "soon".
Matthew Judon was not yet placed on the IR, but this will likely come as he had surgery on his torn biceps tendon on Wednesday.
Activated off Injured Reserve:
OL Riley Reiff (knee)
After signing with the Patriots this past March on a one-year, $5 million deal, Reiff was injured during the team's preseason game versus the Packers in August. Originally thought to be a shoo-in for New England's starting offensive line, Reiff will now likely serve as their swing offensive lineman on Sunday.
