Bad news for Patriots fans eagerly awaiting the return of star cornerback Christian Gonzalez: it will be at least another week until he hits the field on game day.
The Patriots ruled the All-Pro out for Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, one day after he was upgraded to 'questionable.'
Gonzalez has been dealing with a hamstring injury since July 28th. He began practicing with the team again for the first time since then this week, but the team reported him as 'limited' every day.
The Patriots secondary will have their hands full without Gonzalez as they host quarterback Aaron Rodgers and star receiver D.K. Metcalf.
