6 rings: NFL insider Mike Giardi on the depth of the Patriots wide receivers

Ladies and gentlemen, we made it. It’s officially Week 1 in the NFL and we are finally less than seven days away from the Patriots welcoming the Eagles to Gillette Stadium to kick off the regular season.

The club took the field on Monday afternoon as they began their prep for Philly. Here’s what stood out from the first practice of game week:

Attendance:

Absent: Riley Reiff, James Ferentz (practice squad)

PUP: Cody Davis, Trey Flowers

Notes:

- Wide receiver Devante Parker, who missed New England's last two practices, was back on Monday. Looks like he should be good to go for Sunday.

- Matt Corral, donning #19, and Jalen Reagor, donning #83, were both present for their first practices as Patriots after being brought in by the team late last week.

- Immediately, Corral could be seen in both OC Bill O'Brien and QB coach Evan Rothstein's hip pockets trying to pick up the offense.

- Defensive lineman Jeremiah Pharms Jr. was at Patriots practice despite not being listed on the practice squad, indicating that a roster move is coming.
