jones and mego: Is Bill Belichick still worth a first round pick?

"You know, he's a calm, cool, collected guy," Patriots captain and tight end Hunter Henry told the Amazon Prime postgame dais of quarterback Bailey Zappe. "I'm happy for him... He came out here and slung it around pretty good."

New England's signal caller threw for 240 yards and three touchdowns (including two to his tight end) and just as Henry said, looked calm, cool, and collected on the way to his team's third win of the season. Here's how his teammates reacted to his performance:

C David Andrews: "I thought he did a great job this week. It's a lot, I would assume, on a quarterback in a short week... Always respected the way he comes in and prepares each week, especially not knowing what it may be for him. You know, I think a big win on the road feels good for everyone."

WR JuJu Smith-Schuster: "I just saw a very confident quarterback. Someone out there just having fun, being himself, and just zipping it around and, you know, making the best of opportunities."

RB Ezekiel Elliott: "Zap was balling tonight. He commands our attention in that huddle. He was out there, making the checks, making the points, just has so much confidence, and the offense definitely can feel that."

TE Hunter Henry (cont.): "He stepped up when the opportunity presented itself and, you know, he's done well. He's continuing to get better and I think the more reps he takes he's only going to continue to improve."

DL Deatrich Wise Jr.: "He had a great game. He had a really good game. He really did his thing tonight. 21 points. Came out in some great moments, played well, and I think we definitely used that momentum on defense and special teams."
