Unreleased Aaron Hernandez rap songs are slated to hit the digital marketplace. On Wednesday, the upstart platform nftGOAT.io announced it will sell audio of the four tracks as a Non-Fungible Token — a type of digital asset that’s exploded over the last year.

Three of the four songs were recorded in a professional studio while Hernandez was on the Patriots, according to a press release. The company says the last song was recorded in jail days before Hernandez died.

He hanged himself in April 2019.

“Hernandez admits to making many mistakes, but declares his innocence in the case for which he was convicted,” the press release says.

Hernandez was found guilty of first-degree murder in April 2017, but was cleared on double-murder charges days before his suicide. He was serving a life sentence.

A state judge vacated Hernandez’s murder conviction after his passing, but it was reinstated by Massachusetts’ highest court in May 2019.
