On the penultimate drive of the Giants’ regular season, Davis Webb finally found the NFL end zone for the first time with a 14-yard rushing touchdown.

One drive later, he found it through the air for his first career TD pass – and it was Kenny Golladay’s first TD catch in two years as a Giant, and first TD at all since October 4, 2020, when he was with Detroit.
It was an incredible catch, too, as Webb floated one to the end zone that Golladay corralled behind cornerback Darius Slay Jr. and managed to stay in bounds:
Webb waited five years to make his NFL debut and almost six to make his first start, and he finished that start 23 of 40 for 168 yards and a touchdown, with six rushes for 41 yards and a score.
Golladay, meanwhile, concludes his second season with the Giants with six catches on 17 targets for 81 yards and that touchdown – totals that were 14th, tied for 11th, and 13th, respectively, among 17 players to record a reception for the Giants this year.
That TD grab may be the capper on his Giants career, as well, as he’s not expected to see much playing time in the postseason – the Giants sat their top three wideouts and tight end Daniel Bellinger on Sunday – and he is also seen as likely to be cut or traded this offseason.
Either of the latter scenarios would end a hugely disappointing tenure in New York for Golladay, who signed a four-year, $72 million deal in 2021 but finished last season with 37 catches for 521 yards and no scores, giving him a total 43-602-1 line in two seasons.
