Many expected Tyrod Taylor to start Sunday’s Giants season finale, but it will reportedly be Davis Webb under center in Big Blue’s final game before the postseason.

According to Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post, New York Webb will lead the offense that will likely have multiple starters resting during a game that has no bearing on their postseason positioning, with the Giants locked in as the sixth seed.

Webb, a former third-round pick in 2017, was recently elevated from the practice squad. If he does indeed start on Sunday, he will be set to throw his first ever pass in the NFL.

Webb was signed to the practice squad last offseason, bringing a familiarity with Brian Daboll from his time with Buffalo, and completed 74.1 percent of his preseason passes for 457 yards.
