The Giants and their new regime will introduce themselves to the home fans for the first time on Sunday, and new defensive coordinator Wink Martindale is calling on the fanbase to bring the noise to MetLife.

After a thrilling win on the road against the Titans in Week 1, Martindale is hoping that the home crowd on Sunday is ready to rattle the Panthers in Week 2 on Sunday afternoon.

“I’ve only been here for a short period of time, and I know New Yorkers are loud,” Martindale said. “We need to be loud in that stadium. They have to go on silent count.

“If you want to be part of changing this culture here with the Giants: Be loud, and have that place rocking where people don't want to come to our stadium. We'll take care of the rest and we’ll give you something to be loud about.”

The Big Blue defense will be tasked with slowing down Christian McCaffrey and company on Sunday, but Martindale believes the Giants could gain a huge advantage with the help of the crowd.

“Just be loud,” Martindale said. “I can’t wait to see it.”
