The Giants are in need of a win against rival Washington on Thursday night, but they will have to do it shorthanded.

The team announced Wednesday that both Shane Lemieux and Evan Engram have been ruled out, while Saquon Barkley is questionable.

Lemieux played just 17 snaps for New York in a Week 1 loss to the Broncos, as he continues to deal with a knee issue, which he has been battling through the summer. Ben Bredeson handled the rest of the snaps at left guard in Lemieux’s place.

Engram, dealing with a calf injury, did not play in the season opener, but head coach Joe Judge had expressed hope that he would be ready for Thursday night. But the short turnaround likely didn’t help that cause.

Barkley, coming off 10 carries in his first game back from ACL surgery, will likely be limited in some capacity after the short week, though he is reportedly expected to play.
